Sporting Kansas City (7-4-5, 26 points) stayed atop the Western Conference standings and extended their club-record home unbeaten streak to 17 regular season matches with a 1-1 draw against the Montreal Impact on Saturday. Manager Peter Vermes' men will now turn their attention to the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, where they will host Minnesota United FC in the prestigious tournament's round of 32 on Wednesday. The match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT and tickets are available via SeatGeek.com. The contest will also stream live on SportingKC.com, pitting two teams who also met in the 2014 and 2016 editions of the U.S. Open Cup. Sporting KC won both meetings and will look to claim a fourth Open Cup title, having lifted the trophy in 2004, 2012 and 2015.

After battling Minnesota United, Sporting Kansas City will return to MLS regular season action with a trip to the San Jose Earthquakes (5-6-4, 19 points) on Saturday at 8 p.m. CT. FOX Sports Kansas City and FOX Sports Midwest will air three hours of live coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT, while local radio broadcasts will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM. The game will stream live on FOX Sports GO and updates will be provided through the Sporting KC Uphoria mobile app.

The Swope Park Rangers (5-4-1, 16 points) returned to winning ways on Sunday with a 3-1 home victory over Tulsa Roughnecks FC, jumping to seventh place in the Western Conference standings. The Rangers will continue their homestand Sunday when they host star-studded Phoenix Rising FC (5-5-0, 15 points) at Children's Mercy Victory Field inside Swope Soccer Village. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. CT as the Rangers square off against a Phoenix side whose roster includes African legend Didier Drogba, former Mexico international Omar Bravo and former England international Shaun Wright-Phillips. Tickets for the highly anticipated matchup are on sale via SeatGeek.com and will be available for purchase at the venue box office on matchday.

Sporting Kansas City defender Tyler Pasher and forward Soony Saad have joined their respective national teams ahead of matches on Tuesday. Pasher and the Canada Men's National Team will host Curacao in a friendly at 6:30 p.m. CT inside Montreal's Stade Saputo, with live updates available via the SportingKC.com Match Center. Saad, meanwhile, has joined the Lebanon Men's National Team for a 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Malaysia that will kick off at 8:45 a.m. CT at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

A new episode of the Sporting KC Show will air at 7 p.m. CT Tuesday on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Hosts Nate Bukaty and Carter Augustine will recap the previous weekend of MLS action and preview the busy week ahead, including matchups against Minnesota United FC and the San Jose Earthquakes. In addition, fans wishing to be a guest host on Tuesday's show can use the hashtag #CapFedGuestHost on Twitter for a chance to join Bukaty and Augustine in-studio.
