Sporting KC defender Matt Besler joined Sports Radio 810's Steven St. John and Nate Bukaty this morning ahead of the U.S. MNT's second Gold Cup match against Martinique. That match will kick off tonight at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast live on FS1 and UniMas.
Besler is one of three Sporting KC players that started the U.S. MNT's Gold Cup opener against Panama. He was joined by club teammates Graham Zusi and Dom Dwyer, who scored his second international goal in as many appearances.
Besler previewed the Gold Cup match with Steven and Nate, but also discussed Sporting KC's dramatic 3-0 victory over FC Dallas on Tuesday in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals. Listen to the full interview below:
