Sporting Kansas City heads tonight’s home clash against the Portland Timbers with a new name added to the injury report.
Cristian Lobato, who recently returned from a knee injury, is listed as out with a quad concern. He joins Brad Evans (calf), Jimmy Medranda (knee) and Khiry Shelton (torn Meniscus/MCL) who are also all listed as out. Medranda will be out for the next eight months, the club announced on Wednesday.
As for the Timbers, defender Liam Ridgewell is listed as questionable with a leg injury, while goalkeeper Jake Gleeson (tibia) and defenders Modou Jadama (thigh) and Roy Miller (thigh) are all out.
Kickoff for tonight’s match is set for 7:30 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Kansas City Plus, while Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and ESPN Deportes 1480 AM (Spanish) will carry the game on the radio. Tickets are still available via SeatGeek.com.
