Sporting Kansas City enters today’s nationally televised matchup against Real Salt Lake with four players populating the club’s injury report.
While Diego Rubio is off the injury report, midfielder Roger Espinoza is added as questionable with a back injury. Khiry Shelton remains questionable with a knee injury heading into this afternoon’s clash, while Cristian Lobato and Jimmy Medranda are both still out with knee issues.
Real Salt Lake has four players on their injury report, each a long-term absentee. Goalkeeper Alex Horwath (Achilles), defenders Tony Beltran (knee) and Daivd Horst (Achilles), along with midfielder Jordan Allen (knee) are all out.
Kickoff for today’s match is set for 4 p.m. CT on FOX Sports 1 and SiriusXM FC Ch. 157, while ESPN 94.5 (English) and ESPN Deportes 1480 AM (Spanish) will carry the game locally on the radio. Tickets are available via SeatGeek.com.
