Injury Report: Two players questionable ahead of MLS season opener at LAFC

Sporting Kansas City opens the 2019 MLS season on Sunday against Los Angeles FC at Banc of California Stadium with three names on the club’s injury report.


Midfielder Gianluca Busio (quad) and forward Krisztian Nemeth (ankle) are both questionable for the match with minor knocks. Jimmy Medranda is still out for the foreseeable future after undergoing knee surgery last year.


LAFC also has three names on their injury report, as Josh Perez is questionable with a hamstring strain, while midfielders Alejandro Guido and Andre Horta are both out with quad strains.


Tonight’s MLS season opener will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN, while Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and ESPN Deportes 1480 AM (Spanish) will carry the game locally on the radio.
