Fans of all ages are invited to attend Sporting Kansas City’s annual First Friday Party from 5-10 p.m. CT on Friday, June 7 in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District (2020 Baltimore Ave., Kansas City, MO), home to Sporting’s corporate office.
Guests who RSVP to the free event at SportingKC.com/FirstFriday will be treated to complimentary snacks and beverages and receive a Sporting KC pint glass. The summer celebration will also serve as a watch party for Sporting’s away match at Toronto FC that night at 6 p.m. CT, with a large outdoor screen showing the matchup for supporters in attendance.
In addition to offering free snacks and drinks, the First Friday Party will feature yard games, a DJ and No Other Bus, the club’s double-decker bus transformed into the ultimate Sporting entertainment space. Exclusive Sporting KC art pieces will also be available for purchase.
The First Friday Party welcomes soccer fans and Kansas Citians alike, setting the festive stage for a busy summer of soccer in the heartland. Sporting will continue the pursuit of a ninth straight playoff berth while beginning their chase for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on June 12. On the international level, supporters can look forward to the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France (June 7 – July 7) and the Concacaf Gold Cup (June 15 – July 7), which includes a doubleheader featuring the U.S. Men’s National Team on June 26 at Children’s Mercy Park (tickets).
