Jam-packed Week 19 slate to feature five nationally televised MLS matches

The conclusion of the FIFA Women's World Cup and Concacaf Gold Cup has paved the way for Major League Soccer to take the national television spotlight during the second weekend of July.

A jam-packed Week 19 slate will feature five matches broadcast to a national audience, not to mention Sporting Kansas City's pivotal trip to Vancouver Whitecaps FC at 9 p.m. CT Saturday on FOX Sports Kansas City Plus and FOX Sports GO (joined in progress on FOX Sports Kansas City).

The action kicks off with a tantalizing tripleheader on Friday night as MLS originals D.C. United and New England lock horns, followed by first-place LAFC visiting Houston and LA Galaxy hosting San Jose for the newest installment of California Clasico.

Sporting headlines a busy Saturday night, with FOX Sports Kansas City's TV coverage supplemented by live radio calls on Sports Radio 810 WHB and ESPN Deportes KC 1480 AM.

An intriguing Soccer Sunday will see reigning MLS Cup champion Atlanta visit Seattle before the Hudson River Derby draws curtains on the weekend with New York City FC visiting the New York Red Bulls.
