Children's Mercy Park to host two-day blood drive on Wednesday and Thursday

Sporting Kansas City and The Victory Project have teamed up with Community Blood Center to host another urgent two-day blood drive at Children's Mercy Park on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 4-5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.


All donors will receive a free, co-branded Sporting KC stress ball or T-shirt while supplies last.


Appointments are strongly encouraged and walk-ins will only be accepted as capacity safely allows. Healthy blood donors wishing to participate can make an appointment by calling 1-877-468-6844 or booking online via the links below.



The blood drive will take place inside the Budweiser Brew House, located in the northeast corner of the stadium at the intersection of France Family Drive and Village West Parkway, and will be conducted in accordance with CBC protocols for social distancing and public health guidelines. Donors are required to wear a mask throughout their donation and CBC staff will also be wearing masks while taking extra precautions to maintain safe and sanitary conditions.


Sporting Kansas City and Community Blood Center previously held blood drives at Children's Mercy Park on May 18, June 1, July 14, July 27 and Sept. 3-4. These drives collected a total of 270 units of blood, saving up to 810 lives.
