Each season Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) and Sporting Kansas City team up to recognize Blue KC Sporting Samaritans, which highlights students and teachers who make the KC community a better place to live, work and play!

Blue KC Sporting Samaritans, selected from nominations submitted by Sporting KC fans, friends, and/or colleagues, will be recognized during the pregame festivities at Sporting KC home matches at Children’s Mercy Park. The Samaritan and their guests [three (3) total] will not only participate in the on-field experience but will also receive a behind the scenes VIP experience, four (4) tickets to the match, a parking pass, and a customized jersey. Who knows, it could be a possibility that a former Sporting KC player visits your school!

A nominator of the selected/chosen Blue KC Sporting Samaritan will receive two (2) tickets to the recognition match, one (1) parking pass and a $20 Sporting Pay complimentary balance redeemable for concessions or retail at Children's Mercy Park.
