Injury Report - Sporting KC 2019 - 3Across DL Image

Injury Report is SportingKC.com’s look at the latest injury news ahead of upcoming matches and is presented by The Sports Medicine Center at Children's Mercy. All injuries listed are from the teams' official injury reports submitted prior to matchday.

Sporting Kansas City is back at home today as the side prepares to take on the New England Revolution at Children’s Mercy Park with seven players on the injury report.

Defender Andreu Fontas and midfielder Gedion Zelalem are back after missing last weekend’s match against San Jose, but defender Matt Besler (hamstring strain) and midfielder Roger Espinoza (PCL sprain) are now out for the match. Midfielder Ilie Sanchez (calf) is questionable for the match.

Defenders Rodney Wallace (hip), Jaylin Lindsey (torn meniscus), Jimmy Medranda (knee) and forward Erik Hurtado (knee) all remain out long-term.

New England has the luxury of only having one player on their injury report, as Homegrown midfielder Isaac Angking is out with a knee injury.

Tonight’s match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Kansas City Plus and FOX Sports Midwest Plus, while Sports Radio 810 WHB, SiriusXM FC (English) and ESPN Deportes 1480 AM (Spanish) will carry the game on the radio. Tickets are available via SeatGeek.com.
