Two goals. Two league-wide accolades.

On Tuesday, the United Soccer League announced the selection of Kharlton Belmar to the USL Team of the Week for Week 6. Belmar finished second in Player of the Week voting and earned a spot on the weekly best XI for the third time this season -- most among all USL players.

Belmar is also one of five finalists for USL Goal of the Week with voting open on through 12 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 26.

The 25-year-old forward struck twice in the Swope Park Rangers' 2-2 draw at Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday, bagging his third brace of the season with a header in the 70th minute and a superb solo effort in the 88th minute. Belmar now leads the league with seven goals in 2018 and has moved into the top 10 on the USL's all-time goal scoring chart with 36 career regular season goals.
