Sporting KC moves up in MLS Power Rankings -

Sporting KC continued their rise up to the MLS Power Rankings this week after their 3-2 victory against Toronto FC. The team is now #3 on MLSSoccer.com and SI.com, #4 on ESPNFC.com, and #3 on Bleacher Report.

Below are a few excerpts from the power rankings.

MLSSoccer.com (MLSSoccer Staff)

"Their most stylish performance of the season, by far. Putting Benny Feilhaber deeper in the midfield to act as a pivot and letting Graham Zusi be the No. 10 was perfect. Question is, can they do it against a team that's better than TFC?"

ESPNFC.com (Jeff Carlisle)

"Soony Saad grabbed the headlines with two goals in a 3-0 win over Toronto, but for sheer artistry, Claudio Bieler's will be hard to top, as the tic-tac-toe passing of Saad, Kei Kamara and Benny Feilhaber left him with a simple tap-in."

SI.com (Avi Creditor)

"Soony Saad's breakout double was the story of Sporting KC's one-sided 3-0 triumph over Toronto FC, but it was the club's final goal that really left a lasting impression. In a class display of unselfishness, one-touch passing and in-sync team movement, Sporting KC clinically put the Reds away, with Claudio Bieler tallying his ninth goal of the season. After a slight rough patch (by Sporting KC standards) the club has now lost just once in its last nine games and is unbeaten in five."
