Italian heavyweights AC Milan have announced the club's preseason roster for the 2019 International Champions Cup, headlined by a trip to Children's Mercy Park on Tuesday for a marquee showdown against German powerhouse FC Bayern.

AC Milan's formidable 27-man roster, assembled by newly appointed manager Marco Giampaolo, is stacked with emerging talents and heralded veterans.

At age 20, Gianluigi Donnarumma has already played over 150 matches for the club and is widely considered one of the best young goalkeepers in the world. In attack, 24-year-old Polish striker Krzysztof PiÄ…tek led Milan in scoring last year despite joining halfway through the season on a $40 million transfer from Genoa, while 23-year-old Andre Silva has bagged 15 goals in 33 caps for Portugal.

Elsewhere, World Cup-winning Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina, longtime Argentine international Lucas Biglia and Italian forward Fabio Borini boast a decade or more of well-traveled professional experience.

Tickets for the highly anticipated match between AC Milan and FC Bayern are available now at Ticketmaster.com with kickoff slated for 8 p.m. CT.

AC Milan own seven Champions League trophies, the second-most all-time behind Real Madrid's 13. The Rossoneri have also claimed 18 Serie A championships as one of Europe's most accomplished clubs.

On the opposite sideline, FC Bayern have won five UEFA Champions League titles and a record 29 Bundesliga titles. Their current run of seven straight league championships is the longest in German top-flight history. Led by manager Niko Kovac, FC Bayern announced their star-studded preseason roster on July 9.
