Injury Report: Three players listed as Sporting prepares for #SKCvMIN

Injury Report is SportingKC.com’s look at the latest injury news ahead of upcoming matches and is presented by The Sports Medicine Center at Children's Mercy. All injuries listed are from the teams' official injury reports submitted prior to matchday.

Sporting Kansas City is down to just three players on the club’s official injury report as the side prepares to host Minnesota United FC at Children’s Mercy Park tonight.

Winger Gerso Fernandes remains questionable after picking up an ankle injury against RSL on Aug. 10, and he’s joined by goalkeeper Adrian Zendejas who is upgraded to questionable as he recovers from a back injury. That leaves just long-term absentee Rodney Wallace (hip) listed as out.

The Loons have some injury concerns of their own as influential midfielder Ozzie Alonso (leg) and forward Angelo Rodriguez (leg) are both questionable for tonight’s clash, while creative midfielder Kevin Molino (leg) is out.

Kickoff for tonight’s nationally televised Rivalry Week match is set for 8:30 p.m. CT on ESPN, while Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and ESPN Deportes 1480 AM (Spanish) will carry the game locally on the radio. Tickets are still available via SeatGeek.com.
