FOX Sports Kansas City to air “Become One: Sporting Kansas City” preview show Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. CT

Sporting Kansas City fans seeking a recap of the 2020 season to date and a comprehensive preview of the MLS is Back Tournament can tune into FOX Sports Kansas City at 5:30 p.m. CT this Wednesday, July 1.


The series premiere of “Become One: Sporting Kansas City” will recap Sporting’s red-hot start to the campaign and look ahead to the historic and unprecedented MLS is Back Tournament, which will see all 26 MLS clubs descend on Walt Disney World for a World Cup-style competition without supporters in attendance.


FOX Sports Kansas City play-by-play announcer Nate Bukaty, color commentator Jacob Peterson and sideline reporter Carter Augustine will touch on the major storylines surrounding Sporting and MLS as the league prepares to make an emphatic return to play following a four-month hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Manager Peter Vermes’ men will open their group stage campaign on July 12 against rivals Minnesota United FC before facing the Colorado Rapids on July 17 and Real Salt Lake on July 22. All three contests will be shown live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and the ESPN app.
