Alan Pulido nets MLS Team of the Week honors for two-assist game against Real Salt Lake

You can add MLS Team of the Week honors as another feather in the cap of red-hot Sporting Kansas City forward Alan Pulido.

The 29-year-old striker was named among MLSsoccer.com's best XI for the third and final round of group stage games in the MLS is Back Tournament after assisting both goals in Sporting's 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake on Wednesday morning.

Pulido's seven combined goals (three) and assists (four) are the second-most in the league, and his active run of five straight appearances with a goal or an assist is the longest in MLS this year. He is the third MLS Designated Player ever to score or assist in his first five regular season appearances.
