Sporting Kansas City head athletic trainer Chet North made a special appearance yesterday at Olathe North High School to meet with students in their sports medicine and athletic training program. Chet holds veteran status amongst the Sporting Kansas City staff, having been with the club for all 17 seasons, and Thursday was a prime example of the high priority he places on being involved in the community (when not wrapped up in the team's training room).
Chet's speech touched on a wide variety of topics, including the daily duties of an MLS trainer and he offered a wealth of advice for those with aspirations of one day becoming sports trainers themselves.
