Kempin, Collin help out at clinic

Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Jon Kempin and defender Aurelien Collin -- both starters in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Orlando City SC at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup -- were back in action on Thursday night. The two pros took part in a free, two-hour Ability Sports Camp at the Sporting Club Training Center in Swope Park, sponsored by the Recreation Council of Greater Kansas City, Kansas City Parks and Recreation, Midwest Adaptive Sports, UMKC Institute for Human Development, Alphapointe and YMCA. A special shoutout goes to the KC Cauldron, who contributed numerous volunteers and provided t-shirts to support the event!

More than 50 kids participated in the opportunity to go through the training experience alongside the Sporting KC stars and FOX 4 sent their camera crew to cover the clinic, including the footage during their
9pm newcast on Thursday night
and their
morning show earlier today
