Sporting Innovations -- the sports tech company launched by Managing Partners Robb Heineman and Asim Pasha in October 2011 -- was showcased today at the Cisco Global Sports & Entertainment Innovation Summit in London. Pasha was one of more than 150 executives from around the world to attend the gathering near the grounds of this summer's Olympic Games and he spoke on Wednesday to the technological advances being made at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan.
Cisco Connected Sports Solutions have been implemented to rave reviews at LSP since it's opening one year ago, including the high-density Cisco Connected Stadium Wi-Fi. Sporting Innovations received the Product Innovation Award at TheStadiumBusiness Awards in Turin, Italy last month for the company's FAN360 Application and the company continues to focus on developing/deploying next-generation products and services to support the sports industry.
