Paulo Nagamura prime to shine in 2013

Approaching his second season with Sporting Kansas City, Paulo Nagamura is likely to find himself significant minutes during the 2013 season. Nagamura started his Major League Soccer career in 2005 playing for the LA Galaxy. Nagamura started 50 matches for LA prior to a four-game stint with Toronto FC. But for the majority of the 2007 season, Nagamura was an integral part of Chivas USA where he stayed for five seasons until he was traded to Sporting Kansas City.

Nagamura appeared in 27 matches for Sporting KC in 2012, making 19 starts in the regular season. Nagamura also started three of five Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches and scored the game-clinching penalty kick in the U.S. Open Cup Final against the Seattle Sounders.

Nagamura is at peak health and fitness and looking forward to making an impact in 2013. Nagamura's teammates discuss his playing style and what they look forward to seeing out of the Brazilian midfielder this upcoming season.
