Lopez plays 90 minutes in U-20s win


Mikey Lopez featued in his second straight match for the United States in the U-20 tournament on Friday night. After a solid performance as a second half substitute against Haiti, Lopez was in the starting lineup against Costa Rica. Lopez was playing a central midfielder position and helped lead the team to a 1-0 victory. The United States will now play Canada in the quarterfinals with a spot in the U-20 World Cup on the line. Lopez will not be available in that match due to receiving yellow cards in his two previous matches.
