Sporting Club CEO
Robb Heineman was named to Street & Smith's SportsBusiness Journal's Forty Under 40
Class of 2013, the

.

SBJ, the industry's leading weekly publication, has annually identified and honored the most promising young executives in sports business under the age of 40 since 1999. A committee of editors and writers select the award winners from among hundreds of nominations received each year.

Heineman is one of four individuals chosen for the distinction for a second straight year, along with Portland Timbers Owner and President Merritt Paulson. The duo recently shared the No. 23 ranking on Sports Illustrated's list of the "50 Most Powerful People in U.S. Soccer."

Heineman is featured in the March 25th issue of SportsBusiness Journal and will attend the Forty Under 40 Awards Banquet on April 4 in Naples, Fla.

Last year, SportsBusiness Journal selected Sporting Kansas City as a finalist for Sports Team of the Year and Sporting Park as a finalist for Sports Facility of the Year. Heineman, along with fellow Sporting Innovations Managing Partner Asim Pasha, also spoke at SBJ's Sports Facilities & Franchises conference in Miami in June.
