Sports Night on Sports Radio 810 WHB welcomed Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Tim Melia to the show on Monday. The 29-year-old veteran chatted with host TJ Carpenter about Saturday's 4-3 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the team's U.S. Open Cup run and making the most of his chance as a starter for the first time in his six MLS seasons.

Acquired by Sporting Kansas City prior to the 2015 campaign, Melia has the lowest goals against average (0.93) and second best saves percentage (74.1) in the Western Conference. His 9-2-3 record this year gives him the best winning percentage (0.75) of any MLS player at his position (min. 1 game started).
