To express his gratitude on Teacher Appreciation Week, Sporting Kansas City captain Matt Besler conducted a series of virtual classroom visits to teachers across Greater Kansas City who have previously been named a Blue KC Sporting Samaritan.
For the last several seasons, Besler has used the Blue KC Sporting Samaritans platform to cast light on teachers and individuals who go above and beyond to make the Kansas City community a better place. Amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, teachers have been particularly instrumental in conducting virtual coursework with their students. Besler made sure those efforts didn't go unnoticed, as he made his classroom rounds to deliver heartfelt messages of appreciation.
