Major League Soccer's 2020 season may be on hold at the moment, but Sporting Kansas City midfielder Wan Kuzain has represented his club in another high-profile manner during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kuzain, a 21-year-old Sporting Kansas City Academy product who joined the first team as a Homegrown Player in 2018, is competing in the inaugural eMLS Tournament Special alongside Alekzandur, Sporting's eMLS player. The duo emerged as Week Two winners of the competition and have advanced to the final four of the marquee FIFA 20 tournament, which will air nationally on Sunday, May 17, at 5 p.m. CT on FS1.
